Free Discovery Call
A free discovery call gives you the chance to talk through your concerns, ask questions and consider whether screening or assessment may be helpful. There is no obligation to book a screening or full diagnostic assessment after this call.
If I feel that a different type of assessment or support would be more appropriate for your child, I will always be honest about this and will signpost you where I can.
Dyslexia Screening Consultation

A focused screening consultation to explore possible indicators of dyslexia and identify practical next steps. This does not provide a diagnosis.
Full Diagnostic Dyslexia Assessment

Suitable from age 8 to 16
A comprehensive assessment of literacy and related learning skills, with a full written report and recommendations for home and school.

You do not need to know exactly what your child needs before getting in touch. A discovery call helps us talk through what you are noticing, what support has already been tried, and whether screening or a full diagnostic assessment would be the most appropriate next step.

Important to know
A dyslexia screening does not diagnose dyslexia. It can help identify possible indicators of dyslexia or other learning difficulties and guide support or further assessment.
A full diagnostic assessment may identify dyslexia where the evidence supports it. If dyslexia is not identified, the report will still provide a clear understanding of your child’s learning profile and practical recommendations.
What is assessed?
A full diagnostic assessment explores the pattern behind a child’s literacy and learning profile. This may include reading, spelling, writing, phonological skills, working memory, processing speed and related areas.
It is not pass or fail
The assessment is not designed to catch your child out. The aim is to understand how they learn, where tasks are becoming difficult, and what support is likely to help.
